It is not a law requiring a candidate or President to release their returns and what Democrats are doing is wrong in so many ways.

I disagree with them on this issue and let be clear if Trump had broken any law with his Taxes the IRS would have went after him!

There are better ways to fight Trump and this is playing right into his nonsense!

1. You can release your tax returns even while under audit.

There is no law requiring the release of private documents. Tax returns have been deemed private documents by the courts since Nixon’s days. Releasing them would result in a lot of legal problems for those involved.

If Obamas college records have nothing to expose, why did he have then sealed?

Here's something, it's not a requirement for a president to release their taxes, the reasons for trump not wanting them released, we don't know. We've not had a president who has as many world wide business interests as Trump. Either way, he has no obligation to release them, and the people have no entitlement to see them. Just because you hate him and want to see them so you can try and find juicy information is no reason to release them, and you are not entitled to them.

It could very well be that he didn't want to release them because that could have jeopardized business relations, and releasing them could have hurt his business dealings, granted, that fact likely makes liberals giddy.

What law allows congress to release taxes to the public? can someone please post the law that gives congress the authority to release to the public, someone's personal information? Also, read tax code 6103, ALL of it, not just the part you want to see. You'll see that congress just broke tax law...but it's not like anyone will do anything about it..

What "public interest" is served by releasing them? As of yet, trump hasn't been convicted of any crimes related to his taxes. Dems have been after his taxes for years and all this is, is their desire to have his taxes out in the open, nothing more.
