Step one was closing the border (the same one that the Biden regime insisted, wasn't really open.) Step two was deporting the criminals. Step 3 was tightening up policies and having them self deport. Results are already being seen, wages are up as American citizens are taking over jobs formerly held by illegals. Hopefully our next item will be some falling rents as housing supply expands.

The media also has a lot to do with it. Under democrats the media reports the "Welcome to the US" signs and hypes up all the goodies you get when you cross the border (showing clips of Border Patrol agents helping you out of the water), including free water bottles and food, free healthcare, luxury hotels to stay in, pre-loaded credit cards, and free phones. And, you can commit all the crimes you want and Democrats will still back you, claiming US citizens commit more crimes.

Under Trump the media shows families being split up, immediate deportation (sometimes to El Salvador), no due process, and ICE agents raiding places to take you back home. I also saw a media article the other day about increased deaths of illegals in the desert due to trying other routes into the US.

So, I ask everyone, which method works better at deterring illegals from coming here in the first place?
