Nothing wrong with that approach, I held my nose and voted Trump in 2016 for no better reason than I just couldn't sit it out and allow that psychopathic women a freebie... I absolutely despise Trump's pathetic twitting, and terrible communication skills, which to be perfectly honest are exceeded by those of the typical 12-year old, yet this time I do not even need to hold nose whilst enthusiastically punching the Trump button, compared with Biden/Harris he is a fucking saint....
