Trump ran on a number of things like fair trade, tariffs, and bringing manufacturing home. Well, we are only 4 months in and results are astounding.

Importation from other countries has dropped a record $19.8 billion as the tariffs take hold. American manufacturing finally has a chance to compete.

Our deficit on U.S. goods narrowed very sharply in April as foreign orders ground to a halt after President Donald Trump announced his sweeping tariff program.

Our trade deficit in goods narrowed by 46% to just $87.6 billion in April from a record $162.3 billion in March. Think about that: just a few months in and Trump's tariff program, blasted by democrats, has already nearly cut our trade deficit IN HALF.

Falling imports will now likely boost our GDP growth in the second quarter. Trumpanomics working greatly. As usual, if the democrats are sharply against something, then it is likely to work and be good for America. Once again, Trump proves that an outsider in business is better than 10,000 career "professionals in Washington.

What Mandate?

I've mentioned this B4: Turnout was 64.1%

[source: Wikipedia] the Electoral vote win was not impressive 312 to 226 - which explains the hyper focus on the right on the Electoral win vs the popular vote:

[Trump] Popular vote 77,302,580 - Percentage 49.8%
vs
[Harris] Popular vote 75,017,613 - Percentage 48.3%
