Let's be clear what we're talking about here. Trump says that "Republicans should nationalize elections," in clear violation of the Constitution. And make no mistake about what Trump is saying! He is saying that he wants elections to be under his control, period, end of story. Trump likes to pretend that any election anywhere that Republicans lose is fraudulent, but in both his terms of office, he has yet to provide one shred of real evidence that such is the case!!!

Well, Trump best hurry with his "Republican Nationalizing of Voting," because the way things are going he ain't going to have control of the House much longer!

Bigly!!!

How is saying something, expressing an opinion really, a clear violation of the Constitution?

What's bizarre is Republicans. conservatives, and others on the right will say we shouldn't pay attention to what the president says.

I think we should....here's what the link in the OP said he said:

Mr. Trump said on Tuesday that he believed the federal government should ‘get involved’ in elections that are riddled with ‘corruption,’ reiterating his position that the federal government should usurp state laws by exerting control over local elections.

I am of course not surprised that offends you, and your fellow dems

Trump is deranged. Whether it's because of the clot shots he took or not, I don't know. He is 2 years older than I, and quite a few of my friends who took the shots and survived have early senility IMO. Trump is just like them, totally out of it, living in a separate reality.

People have made excuses and defended everything Trump has done, so he must figure that people will excuse and defend this obviously totalitarian move. Trump is desperate and is trying to do anything to keep control, as he sees that Republicans will probably get thrown out of the majority.

Democrats have violated the Constitution numerous times and lost in court over it. This hasn't even happened yet.

You did not even read the OP's cited article, moron! You are just posting to *****.

I do believe there needs to be a singular standard, nationwide, for how elections are bdone. This hodge-podge way we have of doing things now is a large Patti f what leads to the questions and disagreements whichh plague so many of our elections these days.
Don't forget some states over extend their voting periods and reporting tabulation of votes.
