Come on, this has been solved. Criticize policies where warranted, the election is over and America has spoken. Trump has a mandate to follow. If he keeps his promises, he is doing what Americans voted for him to proceed with.

Come on, this has been solved. Criticize policies where warranted, the election is over and America has spoken. Trump has a mandate to follow. If he keeps his promises, he is doing what Americans voted for him to proceed with.

"If" he keeps his promises? Yeah, if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass after every hop. What promises has he kept? Did he end the war in Ukraine? Nope. Did he end the genocide in Gaza? Nope. Did he eliminate taxes on tips? Nope, you get a $25,000 deduction, anything more, you will still pay taxes on that income. Did he eliminate the taxes on Social Security income? Nope, another exemption, $6,000, and only if you are over 65. So much for those under 65 and on disability.

Did he cut taxes? Nope, he extended his tax cut. That is not a cut, everyone will pay the same tax rate as they did last year. Worse, Trump will go down in history as the greatest tax increaser of all time. The tariffs, as they currently stand, average out to about a 14% for the average American consumer and that is expected to climb to 18%, a level not seen since 1933. Before Trump, it was 2%. That is a hell of a tax increase.

Did he cut the deficit. Hell no, blew it wide open, even increased the debt ceiling. Cut inflation. Nope, still plugging along and set to start climbing pretty quick. Increase employment, absolutely not. Firing the messenger is not going to change that. Improve GDP growth, nope, anemic at best. Matter of fact, GDP shrunk at least four quarters in the last forty, all of them under Trump and he came roaring in with a big fat, your guessed it, drop in first quarter. The last quarter, a statistically anomaly that got him to three percent annualized growth rate. That won't happen again. Look for more declines.
