Zone1 Trump administration ordered to restore George Washington slavery exhibit it removed in Philadelphia

Are exhibits or websites which accurately depict negative racial history "inappropriate"?

While I believe this is a good ruling, I take exception to the stated criteria for removing content in the first place —

The removal came in response to a Trump executive order “restoring truth and sanity to American history” at the nation’s museums, parks and landmarks. It directed the Interior Department to ensure those sites do not display elements that “inappropriately disparage Americans past or living"

So I'm pretty sure that what Trump, his administration and MAGA view as "inappropriate" differs from what the average person considers inappropriate. For Example Trump had the military base formerly named Fort Lee after confederate general Robert E. Lee, but then renamed Gregg-Adams in 2023, changed back to Fort Lee. How many people celebrated a return to the Confederate great's name, not knowing (or caring) it was instead named after African American Private Fitz Lee?

Democrats want to erase their tawdry history. But history is not erasable.

In an exhibit that features G. Washington where most of the placards are about slavery is ridiculous.

Why is the left constantly trying to rekindle the civil war. Race relations were improving until about 2010 when the left went off the deep end and starting race baiting to try to gain power.

Just curious. How many cities sued to have any of the many historic statues tore down a few years ago all over this country restored? Even one?

Yet, here is one removed in Philadelphia disparaging Washington Father of this Country, and BAM! There you go--- instant lawsuit. Not to put it back, but to put it back while the case is still pending! What if Trump wins the case, then remove it a SECOND time?

Why not wait to see who wins the trial first before putting it back? What are you afraid of Judge, afraid a few people won't get to see what a slave own Washington was? Afraid Trump might actually carry out an EO carrying forward the policies that America voted for?

Mind you, slavery was the norm back then, it was not a crime, and you can't fairly judge a matter of history by modern standards. That would be like condemning medicine of the 19th century for not using MRIs to diagnose an illness.

What if tomorrow they outlawed using horses for transportation? Would you go back and condemn hundreds of years of horse-drawn carriages and wagons? Trump is right, there is a higher principle at work here, and you won't go to ANY OTHER COUNTRY on this planet and find the government putting up statues critical and disparaging of itself, except in progressive America.

I PRAY TO GOD the next time a democrat gets into office that EVERY ******* MOVE, action, and effort taken by that person, the GOP lines up an endless set of judges, AGs, and lawsuits to block and condemn every one of them. And let no republican ever sign aboard to pass a single budget nor bill created by democrats.

Do you expect anyone to respond to a loaded question, besides the usual race pimps?

Thiis is just one instance of history which was removed under the dubious grounds that it "inappropriately disparages Americans...".

How does it do this? What specifically, or rather who is being disparaged?
