Trump Administration Going On Attack Against Affirmative Action

The Trump administration is going forward against the 56 year long anti-white policies of Affirmative Action. Resources the Dept of Justice’s civil rights division are being redirected away from the liberal oriented Educational Opportunities Section, filled with mostly liberal, career civil servants. These will now be run out of the division’s front office filled with Trump appointees. The emphasis is shifting away from discrimination against minorities, and toward discrimination against whites.

The DOJ will be focusing efforts on investigating AA anti-white discrimination in universities, and suing over for policies deemed to discriminate against whites. Hmmm. Do you think this might inform minorities that they have actually been the beneficiaries of racial discrimination over the past half century, rather than the victims of it, as the propaganda of the left has relentlessly pushed on them ?

Private Universities can set whatever criteria they want for admitting students - including policies for racial and ethnic diversity.

Universities set policies which give preferences based on sex, athletic ability, religion, legacy and alumni donations, to mention a few.

If government dictates that admission policies for racial and ethnic diversity are illegal, then what criteria could be used to determine whether discrimination has occurred? Academic achievement only?

If that were the case all other preferential policies would also be illegal.

All male and all female schools would be illegal.

Preferences for athletes would be illegal.

Seminary and other religious schools would be illegal.

Preference for relatives of Alumni would be illegal.

You are changing the subject. The Trump administration is changing the way its civil rights section of the DOJ work is, with regard to RACIAL discrimination. Right now, it is focusing on university admissions.

Subsequently, it absolutely SHOULD add attacks on ALL racial discrimination against whites, including university financial aid, job hiring, job promotions, business loans, etc., etc.

I imagine there could be dozens of scenarios needing to be corrected, possibly hundreds. And things will be illegal if/whenever the Trump DOJ says they will, not if/when you say.
