LOL....My AO must be some kind of atmospheric oddity.....Whenever there's a "one in X number of years" event it's always cloudy.

It's pretty. I just went out and looked.

Hasn't quite risen over the woods yet, though. Maybe see it in all of its glory in a half hour or so if I'm still awake...
 
The dust from the fires makes it red.
I saw it. It looked small and very orange, rising above the trees. It looked cool. You think the dark orange color, I saw here in Tennessee, is because of the fires burning in Canada? Or are there other large fires, I am not aware of?

Yes, in Canada, they must not have raked the forest last winter.

Not much burning out there. I bet they have more house fires on an average day, than they had Waymo cars on fire this weekend. One of our local weather guys, used the fires in Canada, as the reason we would not see northern lights. I thought he was full of crap, as it is not like the northern lights are seen much in Tennessee, anyway.
