My vote would be for the Titan drone. Titan could ultimately be colonized and/or used as a refueling point for more distant missions. Let's see what's there.

As far as I am concern a stupid comet mission shouldn't even be considered in the same line up as titan or europa.

I didn't vote for Trump and please inform us of the giant strides in space exploration made under the Obama administration. We rely on the Russians for our heavy lift for ***** sake.

If we spent the money exploiting the resources of the Solar System first before looking for germs on Titian the human race would be better for it. Some of those huge amounts of resources could be set aside to do the exploration.

Perhaps cheaper in the very long run. How long would such a lunar launch complex take to build? Also, launching from the Moon would not increase the chances of success of any probe.

That's what he has said. What is said and what happens are two very different things. Even if industry begins now, I doubt Trump would still be in office when the first launches occur.

Actually it would. It would be cheaper and easier to build a space elevator on the Moon.

Before any such bases anywhere other than our moon are even attempted, we will have to devise some way of traveling through space besides coasting using gravity to propel us, as it takes far too long to get where you are going.
