Some Americans think their votes do not matter. They’re disillusioned, disinterested, devalued, they feel the entire election is a scam, not realizing the seriousness of the election, given our democracy is at stake.
Our ideals of freedom, democracy, and life have never been so tested! Our values and our way of life are threatened. Who now sees the threat Trump poses to democracy?
Should he become president – again – we may face the same terrors of the first Trump presidency! That’s right. Back then, many blinked, turned a blind eye, or would not acknowledge his attack on the environment – drilling, drilling, drilling! The chilling effect this had on the economy cannot be minimized: the absolute terror of LOWER gas prices!!
Then, and then…oh, it’s so painful to recall…how lower gas prices had a trickle-down effect, resulting in non-inflated products on store shelves!
If that doesn’t frighten anyone - then consider the insanity of consumers not faced with unavailable items at the grocery store!! Downright barbaric!! If this should happen again consumers will find prices that are not even unreasonable! What? Yes, it can all happen if Trump becomes president again. People. Smart people. Fellow democrats, we can’t let this happen. Do you really want to buy a home or make a decent living? Well, WAKE UP, WOKIES!! These horrible things can happen again if Trump becomes president!
And how about that Trump border?
What a nightmare compared to today as Americans now savor the luxury of rich and varied cultures: Hispanics just trying to make a living wherever and how ever they can, requiring a few Americans to not, you know, live. Today we also appreciate Chinese border crossers bringing their samples of American tech home for their poor babies to eat, while inquisitive, fundamentalist Islamic visitors wanting a better life study American flesh met with prospective physical challenges like contact with hidden explosives, radioactive material, and possible airborne contagions. Pity that Trump had such a racist, limited world view to keep all such potential, freedom loving, prospective Americans from entering unchecked through that border.
And speaking of Trump’s world view. How fascist of him to engineer a peace agreement with Israel and the Arabs and shut down Iran, his policies lessening that country’s ability to finance terrorist attacks, and so sorry to say that if Trump is elected again Iran may lose their golden opportunity at a nuclear bomb. So racist! What! Only the US can have nuclear bombs? Can’t brown-skinned people increase the danger of nuclear fallout to the environment too and spread radioactive material on the colonizers and on Israeli bodies? Trump is so racist he won’t even let that start to happen.
It’s a scary future where politicians like Trump take us back by ushering in a robust, vibrant economy, safer nation, and safer world.
