In a Republic, actually
“Many Americans, myself included, support overhauling the sclerotic national security consensus that has governed our policies since Sept. 11, 2001. Yet it would be wrong to dismiss Mr. Trump’s dizzying array of pronouncements and executive actions on foreign policy as simply the fulfillment of his campaign promises. He did not run on the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D., the conquest of Greenland or the occupation of Gaza. Rather than showing strength, his foreign policy betrays a loss of American self-confidence and self-respect, eliminating any pretense that the United States stands for the things it has claimed to support since fighting two world wars: freedom, self-determination and collective security.

In many ways, Mr. Trump cuts a more familiar picture from history: an aging strongman musing about territorial expansion to consolidate power and cement his legacy. At best, this kind of foreign policy will help shape an international order reformed in opposition to American excess; at worst, it could accelerate a global trend toward disorder and great-power conflict.”

First, ‘America’ didn’t elect Trump – Trump was elected by the frightened and stupid, by those so willfully ignorant as to not believe a second Trump term would be as much a failure as his first.

Second, this is the Trump who was elected – a fascist wannabe despot and dictator with contempt for the rule of law, our democratic institutions, and the Constitution; someone who would seek to dismantle U.S.A.I.D., conquer Greenland, and occupy Gaza.

jones the bigoted hypocrite throws more of his frightened bullshit up....

:lame2:

You didn't vote for him so don't pretend to know why others did and are mostly tickled to death of the results of having your ilk on the run.
It is EXACTLY what we voted for. Maybe we won't have to raise the debt ceiling every year. Start paying down the debt.

I didn't vote for him and even I can tell you his supporters are thrilled by what he's doing. This is exactly what they were wanting when he ran for his office. It's what he promised to do and he's doing it.

Your vote was not enough to overcome the People's

Why can't you understand that?

This is exactly what the People voted for. He's more popular now than he was two months ago.

Putting a foot in the ass of government fraud and waste is going to sell with the voters. Good luck defending the fraudulent spending.

This Isn't the Donald Trump America Elected

Not that you'd ever know.

He did not run on the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D.
He ran on cleaning up government. Did Joe Biden run on opening the border to 20 million illegals, then busing them in to every city? Did Joe Biden run on giving Ukraine 250 billion dollars to fight a war that isn't ours to win or lose? Did Joe Biden run on pulling out of Afghan leaving Americans behind giving the Taliban 80 billion in military gear? Did Joe Biden run on 3X as many Covid dead after saying Trump's number was impeachable? Did Joe Biden run on inflation the highest since the Great Depression with eggs costing a dollar apiece?

the conquest of Greenland or the occupation of Gaza.
Has Greenland been conquered or Gaza occupied?

First, ‘America’ didn’t elect Trump – Trump was elected by the frightened and stupid
Then the vast majority of America must all be frightened and stupid, scared like shit of another four years of Biden/Harris rule that has been the worst period in US history.

I bet now that Trump has exposed (even a fraction) of the fraud and abuse the Dems have been doing that he would win by even more of a landslide if the Election were held today.

What's it to you? You didn't elect him?

Why should we take you seriously?
