but I believe makes a compelling argument for the most part on why the US should have stayed out of WWI and Woodrow Wilson being one of the worst Presidents in history.

A question that comes up is the author says that WW2 would not have happened. Is he saying there would have been no Adolf Hitler rising to power in a much larger and stronger Germany? I find that hard to believe that Germany would have stopped their war after taking over Great Britain. They still would have moved into Russia especially if Hitler was running Germany.

I'm not a supporter of Wilson. He was himself a fascist who hated Jews. But, had our military not have grown and become more powerful, we may have ended up speaking German because we would have been ruled by Hitler and Japan. So, his basic premise is accurate. But, his conclusions may not be accurate.

Possible. Something different would have happened maybe, but no Hitler, no Lenin (The Russian Czar still would have lost power, but with no extended war to bring communists to power in Russia or China later on) our economy most likely would have a downturn in the late 20's but not the Great Depression though that is somewhat more speculative.

The Princeton professor promised America's mothers during his campaign that he would never send their sons to fight in a foreign war. Maybe it was his wife after his massive stroke that democrats kept secret.
