The North End of Boston was inundated by 2.5 million gallons of hot molasses, killing 21.

Not so sweet.

That's different. I watched a video today about 32 weird things in history. It said it was 25 foot high wall of molasses when it started.

Molasses is of De Debbil!
I have 50+ year old bottles of molasses. Why? Nobody eats molasses.

Back then it was actually used to create explosives (and of course rum).

It really does. ....
No, it doesn't. I take my family to the North End all the time and it does NOT smell like molasses. There are great bakeries and Italian restaurants every few feet there.
