Should've been done in the mid 1980s, it would have given baby boomers plenty of time to prepare as the oldest would have been only 38 in 1985, the youngest 21 (1947-1964 for the baby boom generation).

But Dems played their usual games about tampering with Social Security and messed it up.

I met a man last Saturday that graduated from my university 20 years before I did, and I am 64.

No one, with a few rare exceptions, wants to work till they are 70. I have a neighbor who's a republican. Retired teacher. Been retired since 55. She said "they need to raise the retirement age to 70..." She's 62 now. I said "could you imagine having to work another 8 years?" No fucking way she says. LOL
