Some people are acting like the Trump administration is going to resolve the Palestinian/Israeli conflict that has been going on since 1948 when the British government relinquished control over the land; it isn't happening not a snowballs chance in hell because to bring peace you need a two state solution on just terms and the Israeli government is a right wing government so offers no hope for a two state solution. The Trump administration should focus on pursuing viable options and restoring humanity to the region; the Palestinian civilians in Gaza are living in squalor that is in humane there shelter involves tents and that is not a healthy situation. The world needs to see solid structured homes built for them so their situation will be humane!
So to this end providing humane conditions for these Palestinians requires Hamas to be permanently eliminated so that the Israeli Defense Forces will withdraw from the Gaza Strip and the flow of goods in and out of Gaza can return so the community will be able to function. The Trump administration needs to stop acting like Hamas will negotiate itself out of existence it won't it is a complete waste of time valuable time pursuing that. Hamas will only be ultimately permanently eliminated by continued law enforcement from a good Palestinian government in Gaza and that good Palestinian government will never succeed unless Hamas tunnel system is destroyed and never permitted to reconstitute itself because in those tunnels Hamas can create weapon depots, train, operate and build missiles and rockets it can perpetuate its war against Israel which of course brings war to Gaza and will be too strong for the Palestinian government. Once the Hamas Tunnel system problem is fully addressed the Palestinian civilian government has to agree to inflict capital punishment on arrested Hamas leaders and lower Hamas members arrested need to be sent to prison up to seven years; this will create a great deterrent against people joining Hamas's ranks and the organization will then permanently die.
But the Trump administration needs to tap the great U.S. military and American private sector to come up with a way to thoroughly identify the Hamas tunnel system so it can be destroyed and to identify when and where it is being rebuilt so it can be destroyed. America needs to take this job over in the Gaza strip it cannot be left to the Israeli government the Israeli government needs to get its people out of the Gaza strip because it only ferments violence against Israelis by Palestinians them being there. This would not take a big U.S. military presence in Gaza and they wouldn't be hunting Hamas fighters on the ground so they would not get stuck in a quagmire the IDF is in with Hamas fighters who are never completely defeated it is strictly the tunnel system operation. The American people will accept the price tag here and the American effort because it is much much cheaper than funding the Israeli government in these Gaza military operations and wars that regularly creep up as the IDF seeks to defend its people!
One cannot expect Arab governments to shelve out a huge amount of money to rebuild Gaza when in fifteen years the IDF will go in and destroy it all in one of its wars against Hamas. The peace effort should be to get a Palestinian government stood up by its Arab neighbors these Arab intelligence services as well as the U.S. intelligence services meaning in part the CIA can and should help this Palestinian government fight Hamas especially assassinate Hamas leaders. These Arab governments should help build a basic and simple (no high rises, etc.) shelter system for the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza to address the humanitarian problem that exist there, it wouldn't hold the price tag of rebuilding Gaza. Until these negotiations are completer to stand up a Palestinian government in Gaza; U.S. intelligence services especially the CIA should step into the void that has existed over the last two months. What is meant here is that Hamas has been killing Palestinian civilians they believed helped the IDF or are a threat to them left and right during this period the CIA should find out the identity of these Hamas killers and go on a full throttle killing spree against these Hamas killers it would not address the harm these Hamas killers to the peace effort it would set the tone for the whole Gaza problem that Hamas is going away for good they are permanently done! As the new Palestinian government prevails against Hamas the IDF can withdrawal out of the Gaza Strip!
The Trump Administration should not try to strong arm Arab countries to send in troops into Gaza and rebuild it without a deal for the two state solution because this is not a viable option for these governments the Arab Street especially in the respective countries is not going to accept their or these governments being an agent for the Israeli government to eliminate Hamas as the Israeli government subjects the Palestinian people to being a sub-class of people that have to live a woefully depraved life. President Trump can cement his legacy as playing a vital role in establishing a permanent peace amongst these people's by being responsible for the permanent elimination of Hamas. For Hamas is a huge impediment to this peace as well as the cause of great hardship inflicted upon Gaza civilians because of military violence!
