The trouble with the two state solution is that it leaves another enemy state on Israel's border, a state which refuses to admit that Israel has a right to exist. A state which will have an army and arm itself for future attacks on Israel. What country on the planet would agree to have a state formed right on their border which would be hell bent on wanting to eliminate you from existence?

And not only that; when you have a formal nation that levies taxes, can get above-board foreign aid, make actual weapons purchases instead of scavenging them...Israel’s position becomes more precarious.

There needs to be peace and a solution. Two states with an agreement that they not be allowed to have a military and in which Israel can decide who can or cannot enter. Or, at some point the world convinces other Arab nations to offer them all access and refuge in their countries. If America can allow 7 million illegal inside the U.S over three years or so, why can't all the Arab nations offer the Palestiians free passage into their countries?

Gazza is a glorified prison which can't exist under Isreali restrictions.. There are two million people there with no place to go...
Hamas is popular because pacifists don't win when you are daily unconstant threat... There is a large group of Isreali Hardliners that don't believe they should exist either.

West Bank is run by Fatah and organisation which has attempted to engage in peaceful dialogue. The ilegal Settlers are a major problem as they are driving them off their land under the protection/backing of the IDF. This is just a slow invasion which any one can see in the timeline.

This has nothing to do with defence... This is about an invasion.

Think of it logically, if a foriegn people came in to your neighbourhood and took land and the army moved you out so they can have a buffer zome. Then more move into the buffer zone and then you are moved again... How would you feel?

Israel is the only country in the world that is expected to have portions of its own nation out of their control. When that map is nothing other than Israel then things can calm down. I hope they take it all right now. The West Bank too. Stop fucking dealing with these people. Take the entire country for their own and displace whoever you have to to accomplish it.
