The Tesla protestors got one-upped in FL today.

Word got out they were planning another protest and to start gathering by 11:30 this morning at the dealership.

"The demonstrators in support of Elon and Tesla arrived earlier so they got the store side. The opposition is yelling from across the (six lane ) street.....Lots of fun here."

I suspect those folks would not be caught dead in an EV but came out in support of what Trump and Musk are doing....Patriots all.....It warms your heart.

It's like I said, they came out in support of what Trump and Musk have done for our country, not for EVs in particular.

BTW, someone should tell the dems that Musk cashed-out of Tesla a couple years ago and only holds 10% of Tesla stock.

Smart move on his part. I am glad I never invested in Tesla. Those that did since election, lost their ass, including several insiders.

You know, I'm not an electric car kind of guy. I am happy with my two gasoline powered SUVs, which collectively has not lost as much value as the average 1-year-old Tesla, even though, they are years older. I figure it will be years before they get the bugs out Electric Cars and have no idea if Tesla will still be a thing, by the time they do.

Just curious, if it was just a political stunt or whether they actually supported Teslas. If you really want to support, you should follow the advertising recommendations of Trump and the Secretary of Commerce and put your money behind it. Maybe not the smartest financial move/vehicle, but is putting their money where their mouth is. I suspect US Government tax break incentives are the only thing keeping that boat afloat.

Did you see me posting in Bold Red? No. When posting, I am just a supporting member poster. Modding is not a paid gig. When posting, I post what I feel like, like any other poster. When recruited, I had a firm agreement, I could post as usual or I wouldn't agree to do the free-service gig at all. I already did my time in the barrel where I had to support some company line and watch what I said, but that was when I had to do Supv/mgt for a living. Now I am multiple retired, pretty much do as I please, say what I please. If you don't like it, post somewhere else.

I doubt it as far as the Musk supporters went.

It's akin to when Confederate monument defacing was all the rage by BLM and Antifa.

In my town there was a well-founded rumor that some protestors from out of town were gonna show up at the courthouse and try to deface our Confederate (Warren Rifles) monument.

By the time the time slated came and went for it there must have been 300 people just standing about to prevent it. The whole thing went off by word of mouth and phone I guess.

I was at a nearby gun shop and they closed it and we all walked over.
