11 years ago, I read that the average American watches 25 hours of TV every week (and I was no different). As an experiment I shut off my TV and stored it in a closet. During that 3+ hour period every day I began researching home based businesses and started reading library books on both medical insurance billing and bookkeeping, then 3 hours a day was spent cold calling and door knocking for clients, and in 2 1/2 years I was able to work my biz. full time and now have 5 small medical clinics I service, with an income nearly double that of my old job. This story is not a new one, it's being done everyday, but it all started with getting off the plug-in drug and doing something useful with that time.

If you're a sports fan, you can check out the scores on the internet, the same for daily events, politics, and the weather. You don't really need to watch Mr. Yellow man and his stupid bird try to sell you insurance for the 400th time, nor do you need to watch big Pharma parade a bunch of idiots down a street, with stupid looking smiles on their faces, trying to sell you everything from erectile pills to constipation meds.

Try getting off the plug-in drug for a few months and do something useful with that time. You'll probably be glad you did. :)

I don't watch TV. In the past, TV was all the 'video' we had. Today, we can access almost any media we want instead of being held captive to a few broadcast stations. I hate to tell ya but you're plugged in right now. I think it's funny and ironic how some 'holier than thou' people on the Internet say the Internet is bad.

The Internet is like a knife drawer. Any knife can be used to help prepare food for instance, and, any knife can be used to stab someone.
