The NFL bans Josh Gordon 3 years for smoking weed...

...but hands out fines for players head hunting and trying to end careers on the field. No ejections, no real suspensions, no banishments. They also have no idea what a catch is. Love the game, but the NFL is pathetic right now.

I don't like the idea of weed being illegal, but let's get something straight, he joined the NFL knowing you can't smoke weed, and that him staying in the NFL and collecting big paychecks depended on him NOT smoking weed... yet he continued to do so. So either weed is much more addictive than people will admit to, or he is a complete idiot.

The severity of the punishment is not simply about him being caught smoking weed. It is about him being caught and punished over and over and over.

Ignore the punishment and it will get worse.
