Back in the 90's when reality shows were the new things, the format gradually made its way into mainstream news, not just entertainment. As a result, people became conditioned for gullibility and could sort out truth from drama anymore. This has become ever more layered and complicated since then. Something can be 99% real but it's that 1% that slips under the radar which swings the whole story this way or that.People are becoming very creative with these short productions.
