Very few, if any.I wonder how many of those stranded vehicles are EVs.
A few years back, a snowstorm hit from Georgia to Virginia and stranded hundreds of EVs. I thought California would be all EVs by now.Very few, if any.

Was that much snow predicted? I know that in the CA mountain passes you can get dumped on in a hot hurry.Yeah, that's roughly fifteen miles from me. In all fairness it's not that idiots fault. We just got 8 feet of snow dumped on us up here. It's hard to clear that much snow, that fast.
Helicopters can drop food so they won’t have to resort to that.Donner Pass. Wonder what happens next?
It was the upper end of the estimate. Mt. Rose got 9 feet, I got 8 to 9 depending on which part of my property you're on, Squaw got over 8 feet. It's pretty typical to be honest. Was that much snow predicted? I know that in the CA mountain passes you can get dumped on in a hot hurry.
According to my "dog dish rain gauge" we got two inches of rain since 3pm yesterday. Still raining. Glad the temps stayed up in the high 30s so it wasn't snow. Supposed to be in the low 60s this afternoon. It was the upper end of the estimate. Mt. Rose got 9 feet, I got 8 to 9 depending on which part of my property you're on, Squaw got over 8 feet. The main difference between our Sierra cement, and your east coast snow is the density of the snow. Ours is very heavy because the water content is very high.
So, great for skiing, not so great when you're trying to drive through it.
The best kind.I don't know WTF I'd do with 8' of snow at one time. The deepest I can remember was 5' in a early March storm. Then it got up into the 70s and was gone in a day!
LOL....It sure made a mess. Lots of roads were flooded out due to the quick melt off.The best kind.
We will get 4 feet of snow in a single day when we have an atmospheric river impact the tahoe basin. That happens fairly regularly. Figure once every 6 or 7 years on average.According to my "dog dish rain gauge" we got two inches of rain since 3pm yesterday. Still raining. At least the rain served to finally melt away the remaining snow/ice and the Shenandoah River is in full flow now.
