The Iraqi government signed two agreements with the German government to set up service projects within the German loan in the liberated areas.
A statement by the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers said that a meeting of the German-Iraqi Steering Committee, chaired by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak and the German Ambassador, Dr Cyrill Nunn was held in the presence of a German delegation, the head of the Iraq Reconstruction Fund Mustafa Al-Hiti and Turhan Al-Mufti, they discussed the terms of the two conventions and the projects that can be initiated after the signing, in order to speed up the return of displaced persons to their areas of residence.
