Some of the most artificial and plastic people. I'd just prefer a coward be straight up in their cowardice rather than hiding behind mantras and buzzwords while waiting to stab you in the back. I have little respect for such people, it's not as if they are in the game of national security and global competition that sometimes requires difficult decisions by good men, these overlords are not of the sort.
Canada is going to fall way behind and there are multiple reasons for it. At the core of these failures is character. You have it or you don't. We need more leaders with character, less cowards.

A homeless encampment on Church Street was forcibly cleared this week to make way for a Pride event this weekend that aims to raise money, in part, for programs to assist Toronto’s homeless population.
The clearing of Barbara Hall Park, led by city workers with police also on scene, ended with four people arrested. Seven people encamped at Barbara Hall were referred to shelter facilities, city hall said Tuesday, confirming that six more were displaced to unknown locations.
The clearing was protested by a small crowd who gathered outside of metal fencing set up around the park’s perimeter.
The operation Monday came two days before the annual Green Space Festival held by Church Street community centre The 519, which said the event is key to financially supporting the programs and services it offers throughout the year.
“The funds raised through (the festival) enable us to sustain critical programs and services that are essential to community well-being — work that is too often left under or unfunded by traditional funding streams, that our communities cannot go without,” The 519 said in a statement Monday, adding that its staff advocated to governments to address the “systemic causes of homelessness.”
City spokesperson Elise von Scheel confirmed that the clearing was spurred by an “event purpose for large-scale Pride activities,” saying set-up was meant to begin Monday morning.
“For the safety of people experiencing homelessness and event staff, shelter referrals and clean up of the grounds were necessary,” von Scheel said in an email.
