We have a beautiful Advent wreath in church, with the purple and rose candles, and I enjoy when father lights the candles every day.

I think much of the Advent tradition is celebrated by families, and I have no family here, so quietly enjoy the celebrations at church.

Our wreath is much like this:

I have seen the crown with red candles at some time, but I don't know about it's traditional significance. There are a lot of great images online.

Originally it had 24 candles.
