Lock and Load with Dick Fairburn. Warning: this might rustle a few jimmies. ;)

For myself I just can't get away from my 1970s Colt Cobra, it a joy to carry and, for me, I can shoot it as well as a 4" K-frame S&W......I use the 158 gr. LSWCHP "FBI Load".....I don't mind the extra round available in the Colt D-Frame (6) over a J-frame S&W (5) either.

My Cobra is nickeled and has smooth "combat" grips on it rather than the checkering.....Same grip with the checkering removed....LOL, I just wish my Cobra was near as pretty now.

My EDC is a S&W 640 .357. Always goes bang when I need it to.

As the saying goes.........................

It's not the SIZE of the weapon you have, it's how you USE it that counts.

I have an S&W Airlite. 16 oz. empty and 20 oz. full. It is accurate, but I am not. :(

As I've posted before, the inaccuracy of the .38 snubbie isn't because of the short barrel. It's because of the angle of sight picture from rear to front sight, which is super sensitive with such a short gun, and high trigger pull in most of these little guns.
It takes practice, but you can hit a 10 inch target at 25 yards consistently most times.
It helps if you pull the hammer back before every shot.
It's not really a weapon designed for long shots, but it's a challenge.
It's become my favorite gun in these modern times.

If that's all there is I don't wanna live no more.
If that's all there is, guns fuckin' suck balls.

LOL. Ya, it's not a High Standard .22. But it does pack a lot more punch.
If it hits what's aimed at. What kinda bullshit is that?
I'd expect better out of ..anything..dammit!
