He doesn't seem like a good guy. That said, I think some in the Dems are suggesting it isn't about the man but about your Constitution and laws, the principle of the matter. This has been handled inconsistently and awkwardly to say the least.

You left out the detail that the car had been modified to carry two extra people, an extra bench seat had been put in, and the rear windows darkened so that outsiders could not see in to see the changes so the car looked normal on the outside.

Garcia is an illegal alien, and is clearly a bad actor. He entered America illegally. The Constitution grants no rights whatsoever to people who enter the country illegally.

No one is claiming Garcia is some wonderful guy other than his wife and family...and Trumpers claiming democrats are arguing such.

The argument is the TRUMP ADMIN defied a COURT ORDER restraining them from deporting him back to ElSalvador for safety reasons. They broke the law for their own expediency.

The admin was suppose to file with the Court a request to pull back the Court's Ordered protection, NOT JUST DEFY IT.

In this court hearing to have Garcia's protection removed that the trump admin wants, gives Garcia a chance to defend himself and argue the protection should stay in front of this judge....before the judge takes the protection given to him previously, away. That court hearing, that did not take place, under the law, denied Garcia of his due process right.

Well, some of these things are what they are. Some aren't.

A "suspected human trafficker" because he had 8 people in a vehicle. He's said he worked construction and took people to work. Just because some random person "suspects" something doesn't mean they're right.

The point is the law needs to be followed. Trump doesn't follow the law and acts like a criminal himself. That's what people are worried about.

You don't really believe they were screening those people, do you? And you certainly don't believe that half were sent back. Biden's illegal alien invasion was the biggest self-made disaster this country has ever seen, even bigger than some of the stupid wars we got ourselves into. It's going to take a lot of time and money to correct this disaster, more than the California fires and Carolina floods combined. And it was unnecessary.

Here is a big part of the problem.
First off if you are truly seeking asylum and have a real reason for doing so you go to a port of entry and conduct business there. You do not try and sneak across a section of the border then when caught claim you need asylum.
Kind of like sneaking into a jewelry store through the back door then when caught claiming you were only going to buy the watch in your hand.
Second is anyone that has a clue knows that unfortunately boarder patrol only catches a percentage of those that sneak across the boarder. There are large numbers that do it by hiding in van, cars, tractor trailers. They walk across while Boarder Patrol is in another area. They climb over fencing. I could go on and on. But suffice it to say that only a portion of those crossing the boarder are seen and interviewed by Boarder Patrol.
Third is a large percentage of those that are vetted and given a court date show up for that court date. They just quietly disappear into the country. Some because they know they will be sent back after their case is heard. Some because it is easier to do that then show show up and take a chance in court.
So to claim that all these people were interviewed and vetted is a wild assertion that is not founded in fact.
