The Taliban is as much of a political movement as it is a religious one. Especially back in the day.

They probably want to send a contingent over to Syria and expand their international presence. They could rein in some glory and PR in the process. Interesting considering the Taliban does this now, when they are stronger than ever. Although to be fair, the US client military in Afghanistan is also stronger than ever.

Well, this decision will ultimately be decided by the current American puppet administration. I wonder what orders Donald Trump will relay back to ol' Ashraf Ghani.

This is very interesting. I thought Taliban were pro-ISIS and not against them.
Anyway that's a good news.
Maybe they could help to fight and win that terrorist organization
