I just saw the movie. It was great. It flopped for a number of reasons, but it really was worth watching. I vaguely remember Christy Martin but female boxing wasn't/isn't big, so she may not be known by most.

Sydney Sweeney thought her story needed to be told. I have even more respect for this beautiful young woman. Seek it out and watch it. It's worth your time

I have a confession to make. I bought one of those Sydney Sweeney bath soap bars as a collector's item. They only made so many of them and has an authentication certificate. If she continues being a star and sex symbol, I may become a millionaire, probably after I'm dead. Weird thing is, while she's pretty and has some great assets, she really doesn't do anything for me overall. But, a collector's item is a collector's item.

They "toned down" the sex appeal for the movie. She looks a LOT like the boxer she played

I don't know which movie or movies they were but I heard that at least one of her movies bombed at the box office but has been cleaning up in streaming land.

The true-crime show 48 Hours has an episode out recently about the Christy Martin case. Fascinating story.
