As to any rapes and the murdering of women, I seem to recall that the Quran cites that in war, Muslims are to "capture" the women and while the women are held, the Muslims can "request" if the captured women will marry them and if they refuse, the Muslims cannot violate them. At the end of one year, the Muslim can ask the woman again if she will agree to marry the Muslim. If she still refuses, then she is to be freed.
When HAMAS murders or rapes the women, what they are doing is considered haram (forbidden).

Religious followers pick and choose which rules they want to follow. Very few people live truly devout lives anywhere in the world. Also, there are many conflicting passages in the Quran, so it may say you cant do this on one page, but on another it will say the opposite.
