spoiling your children is NOT love. In fact, it is the opposite

I've seen people who neglect to discipline their children (not talking about beating them) and the results are always bad.

A lot of spoiled children grow up to be criminals because they unconsciously think that society will be just as lenient or accepting of their misbehavior as their parents were/are.

So I hope anyone here planning to have children realizes that

you can't be friends w/ your children while they are growing up. They need PARENTS, not friends.

^^^ Amen. Reading your message made me think of country legend Wynonna Judd and her daughter, Grace. According to what I just found on this news search here, Wy may have washed her hands of Grace because of what Grace has been up to more recently. Apparently, it is just one thing after another where that girl is concerned.
