It's going to be difficult for the Republicans to "hold China accountable". Like all the trump Nazis and many of the vacillating moderates, the congressional Republicans have forgotten the Reagan economic policies of the 1980s, when millions of manufacturing jobs were shipped from the U.S. to China.

Those policies and subsequent piece of legislation supported by every congressional Republican and moderate Democrat since that time have guaranteed China the power to hold the U.S. economy hostage at will. So, the threat by the new Republican House majority to "hold China accountable" is empty.

Any attempt by the U.S. government to force its will upon the Chinese will be countered with an embargo of consumer products. Should this occur, the billionaires and Fortune 500 corporate heads here in the U.S. will immediately be on the phone to their newly elected Republican stooges in the House, chewing a$$es and ordering the stooges to backoff, as their political stunt is cutting into profits (and quarterly bonuses for the corporate officers).

The trump Nazis, both those in Congress and those among the mindless rank-and-file, will quickly learn who really controls policy of the U.S. government.
