Someone was smart enough to rent all the local park event spaces for every weekend in June before the pride group could reserve them.

Brilliant!

Modern problems solved by modern solutions.....With a bit of foresight and money ;)

- the money changers among the many who guide the hand of injustice the desert dwellers rely on for their personal comfort.

I don't give two shits about pride, but I can see it only hurting society. I appreciate this.
They are getting way to funking extreme for my tasting.
Sure, go do you. But leave the children and women out of it!!

Another sad chapter in the long history of Alabama bigotry and hatred.

What they should have done is like with that Christian concert and try to break the events up with violence, right?

This is an example of ACTUAL civil disobedience.

No excuse for any violence at a protest or rally. Maybe we should be raising the bar, not lowering it.

No evidence of hatred, and the word bigotry is used by you people so much it has lost its meaning.

People have the right to think and express that they believe homosexuality to be morally wrong.

Are you advocating punishing thoughtcrime?
It is not what you think that matters, it's what you do. Preventing others from expressing themselves is petty, stupid, and un-American.

It's not even disobedience. They followed the law and legally forced the event to move.

They can express themselves at another location, again if that's what is happening instead of people booking something for a June weekend.
