Living near and knowing one of those shot and wounded at VA Tech, these stories hit close to home for me. My prayers for the victims and their families.

KCBS reported that they interviewed some school officials, sounds like he was a student (unclear if current or former student). One says he was in a nursing class.

Sounds correct from this article. 40 year old nursing student. Or at very least a 40 year old who hung out in nursing classes.
