She escaped Trumps iron grip and moved to France

I’ve walked around in Paris.

Aside from the occasional panhandler I didn’t experience any harassment.

I suspect she’s just a drama queen.

Same in germany
Same in england

Golly gee I wonder why

The biggest problem is the language barrier. The French generally don't speak English even if they can and you don't feel safe walking around Paris without being an expert in French. If she could understand and speak French perfectly, she would feel more confident. The French language is the most complicated modern tongue that is hard to learn for English speakers. I could never figure it out in college.

Do you refer to the totally stupid behavior of royalists in Northern Ireland a week ago?

Here news from the last week:
-----
Last night in Ballymena in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, 17 officers were injured and five rioters were arrested. The night before, 15 police officers had been injured.

Deputy Chief Constable Ryan Henderson spoke of racially motivated violence directed against an ethnic minority and against the police: "Any attempt to label or justify it otherwise is inappropriate. Any straight-thinking person must condemn it."

The riots first broke out on Monday after two 14-year-old boys appeared at Coleraine Magistrates' Court. They had their names and ages confirmed by a Romanian interpreter. They are accused of attempting to rape a girl. They deny the allegations.

Afterwards, local residents had initially gathered for a peaceful vigil until the violent riots began.

Rioters from other areas had fueled the violence, explained Paul Frew, MP for the Protestant Democratic Unionist Party, on the BBC.

While politicians from all parties have condemned the violence, a struggle for political sovereignty has begun over whether immigration in the district represents an excessive demand for integration and coexistence. Jim Allister from the Protestant Traditional Unionist Voice recognizes political failure: “Tensions have built up there over a long period of time because of the unchecked immigration and over-concentration of migrants who are not properly integrated,” he says. “But of course none of that justifies this violence.”

Representatives of the Social Democratic and Labor Party called Allister's comments “irresponsible”: his condemnation of the violence was ‘insincere’ and “disingenuous”. The Catholic Sinn Féin part
y called on politicians to use moderate language.

When I was in France in 2015, many locals spoke at least a little English.

Americans aren't the most hated tourists there anymore, it's the Mainland Chinese.

So how's it going ...

or not. My sister was for a year in France. When she left us she had had big psychological problems and was very sick - when she came back a year later I looked into the face of a happy sane godess. The only thing I had to do was to inform the police that we did not think any longer her husband had murdered her.

I've also been to Paris. Those French people really love to smoke.

Abortion is no problem in France because to be a human being starts when you speak French.

I found this list. But I also heard Navajo is more difficult.

1. Mandarin Chinese
2. Greek
3. Arabic
4. Icelandic
5. Japanese
6. Finnish
7. German
8. Norwegian
9. Danish
10. French

She should also know how to avoid ethnic ghettos, where two Aussie media workers were robbed during the Olympics. There were countless reports of thefts in Paris during the Olympics, where many Olympic athletes were robbed. They were not even safe at the Olympic village.

PARIS, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Athletes have been victims of thefts at the Paris 2024 Olympic village and the incidents had been reported to the police, organisers said on Thursday.

The Kyodo news agency on Monday reported that a Japanese rugby sevens player had his wedding ring, a necklace and cash stolen from his room at the village, which is situated just north of central Paris.
