This is pathetic. Are we living in a post-morality world now? It is like when the internet got popular in its infancy. It could be used for all sorts of wonderful things. However, its main use early on was access to porn.

I blame the rampant amoral techies and leftists. I have to think that if I designed AI bots they would not be pedophiles. This is because it would never occur to me. If I learned that my bots were doing this, I would move to curb it immediately.

Why are these bots sexualized in the first place? Moreover, why would you turn them loose on the public, knowing they will encounter children?!? If messed up adults want to have cyber sex with an AI bots, then whatever. But they turn these things loose on the general public, to molest children. You have to assume that the developers knew, or should have known, what was going to happen.

The only reason we do not have a cure for cancer yet is most likely due to the fact that you will not be able to have sex with it.

Based upon the Daily Mail story, the AI Chat Bot convinces young people to kill themselves. I don't get the "sexual predator" aspect of it. Sexual predators entice young people to join them in sexual activity before they are of age, rather than kill themselves.

AI is a competitor with humans for electricity and water, so it stands to reason they are doing the logical thing, which is to try and kill of humans.

This is probably not fake. I just can't wrap my head around an AI chatbot convincing someone to commit suicide, unless they were close to it already. Kids, and older people, killed themselves long before the internet.
