Just heard this on the news tonight. I guess securing rooftops is just too hard for them, especially when the public points out people on the roof with guns ahead of time. So, the answer is for Trump to stop outside rallies. Doesn't even occur to them to do their jobs better. Why does this smell so much like trying to put restrictions on Trump while running a campaign against Kamala Harris? Will she also not be holding rallies outdoors? The news didn't say anything about telling her not to do outside rallies.

Indoor rallies mean smaller crowds. It's a means of controlling his popularity.

He has too high of a demand in the home stretch. As much as I thought this made sense after the first attempt, he now he has a different opponent and he needs to show the contrast in support.

I'm not so sure Trump can agree to this. It is secret services job to protect him so why the issue now?

Trump should consider also adding a private team who can be used as rotation. They'd obviously have to have the highest clearance level.

It accomplishes two things. If the Trump campaign follows the advice, it limits the campaign. If not, the SS has a built in excuse if something happens. They might even pull some shit like not offering protection if their advice isn't followed.

I think Trump will add his own security and operate as usual.
