I remember SF in the late 80s you could walk around at night.... it was pretty peaceful.. no one sleeping on the streets but maybe 1 or 2 who were out of sight... But the tolerance of the kind people who lived there before, allowed these selfish biters to take over and impose their will.

Seattle has legislated that any amount under $750 is not theft.

I term the San Francisco liberal(?) types as the STATIST left. These type of people are not true liberals, @ least not CLASSICAL liberals as Ron Paul & Tom Jefferson are/were. The statist left are the radical tail end of the SOCIAL liberals & live for power & control over other folks period. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is rampant among the statist left. The few moderate Liberal folks who still identify with the current Democrat party need to get out of the ever increasingly dangerous Democrat party ideology. With a quality M/B like our USMB one can still have online socializing(tons of forums!) plus learn/interact from/with our board members & have a good time doing it!
