Russia China views on Iran?

Where does Russia and China stand on Irans nuclear program? Ive been informed that whenever the us tries to interfere with Irans nuclear program through the UN these two countries step to keep us from interfering.

Neither is keen on military action, but they've been cooperating on sanctions.

Nobody there wants their Scientists and Technicians hurt, if there was Military action.
