Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday announced sanctions against judges of the International Criminal Court over an ongoing case against Israel.

The ICC has issued a warrant for the arrest of several Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in connection with their conduct in the Gaza War. The U.S. has denounced the move.

"Today, the Trump Administration is sanctioning two International Criminal Court judges directly engaged in politicized and illegitimate actions against Israel," Rubio posted on X. "The United States has been clear: we will continue to respond with significant and tangible consequences to protect against the ICC's lawfare, abuse of power, and blatant disregard for the sovereignty of the U.S. and Israel."

The United States is not a signatory to the Rome statute and is not bound by the ICC.

Everything the Palestinians touch turns to shit. The ICC has no power of its own, and now that it has issued politically motivated arrest warrants for Israelis it has lost whatever credibility it may have had.

The Mayor elect of NYC - home of the United Nations - has publicly stated that he would honor the arrest warrant for Bibi, given the opportunity to do so.

I'm sure he's not the only one among the truly radicalized and irrational left.

Won't be long before tRump and Rubio make the warrant list.

If Netanyahu were to come to NYC, he would have diplomatic immunity and if Mamdani were to arrest him he would then be guilty of a federal crime.

I agree. The ICC is completely out of control, issuing warrants for political reasons rather than legal reasons.
AMAZING!!!

How do you do it?

That's almost EXACTLY what I DIDN'T mean!!

Well done!!

Of course it is what you meant. There would be no legal reason to issue warrants for Trump or Rubio, just as there were no legal reasons for issuing warrants for Netanyahu or Gallant, so by issuing these warrants the ICC is clearly out of control and you approve of it.

sinking ships in international waters and then going back to finish off survivors ring any bells?

Enemy combatants who haven't surrendered and their ships are legitimate targets. The US considers drug runners bringing fentanyl to the US enemy combatants. Don't let your loyalty to the Democratic Party turn you against the welfare of the American people.

And trump would not hesitate to arrest Mamdani and free Bibi
