I remembered liking the movie, the wife had not seen it. So we watched it last night.
On face value, the movie is good - the acting is very good, the script is well written and despite the man's inept IQ - DeNiro's portrayal of playing the desperation of a aging man is almost perfect.
Below the face value, it is a movie about regret, deceit, desperation and the result of it. Ruination.
The movie also, mostly in the background, constantly refers to religion. Some won't like it, because it doesn't exactly give a positive portrayal of it. But, to me, it is not saying religion is bad, but how people manipulate religion to make their sins better than sins people without faith commit.
But, again, even though that is an intrinsic part of the movie - it is in the background.

It is definitely worth watching.

I didn't care for it.

On the plus side I did watch Back to the Future last evening.

I saw it when it came out at the local theater.

LOL.....I can't remember the last time I saw it without commercials.

There is the added benefit of seeing Milla Jovovich naked!
