A good movie. Although from the perspective of Karl Jung, it is a movie about his treatment, and relations, with a female patient at a time when psychoanalysis was more of an idea than a practice. It is also a story of his strong relationship with Sigmund Freud.
The story is fiction, but based on a book based on writings and a journal of the patient... who became a breakthrough psychoanalyst herself, even surpassing methods of Sigmund Freud. (Sabina Spielrein)
So one of those movies where the events shown are known to have happened without details. And the writer takes artistic license to fill in the details.
