Anyone who thinks that Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.'s VP pick, is some flaming liberal needs to watch this recent 138-minute interview with her on the Sage Steele Show. Shanahan starts discussing her political views at around 1:09:00, give or take. Until that point, the interview is mostly about Shanahan's personal life story and how she came to be Kennedy's VP pick.

When Shanahan starts talking about her political views, she calls for securing the border and for deporting illegal immigrants, among many other things. Yes, she actually says we must deport illegal immigrants (but that it be done as humanely as possible). She says that illegal immigration threatens the social fabric of the country. She calls for law and order and opposes efforts to defund the police. She calls the October 7 Hamas attack a terrorist attack and says Israel had every right to retaliate and defend itself. She heaps great praise on Israeli leader Golda Meir and expresses support for the U.S. provision of the Iron Dome system to Israel. She condemns the pro-Hamas protests on U.S. college campuses. She even says that Democrats should be more worried about their party's caving into pro-Hamas protests than they are about Trump!

Again, whoever thinks Nicole Shanahan is some flaming liberal really needs to watch this interview. Oh, she holds liberal views on some issues, but she also holds many decidedly non-liberal views.

There is no need to address the employers 'enticing' them to come here, since most of them aren't here to look for jobs to support their families........like they used too.

Yes, indeed. Biden won't do this. Trump did not do this--he talked about cracking down on hiring illegals, but he took no substantive action to make that happen. RFK Jr. is determined to do this because he views the open-border policy as a threat to our social fabric, a threat to our safety net, a threat to our national security, and a threat to our sovereignty.

Unless you can get laws passed, it just gets tied up in the courts for years.

Besides you don't need new laws to go after the employers. You just have to have the will to do it.
