Was watching Prime. English show. Guy working called to boss.

He had three weeks holiday. He was three weeks to age 65. They forced him home forever.

Is that the law in the Brits? Age 65 you are finished no matter what?

He was bored and unhappy. Sent home to the old lady whos' mission in life to squeeze any little happiness He could find outta of him?

I know people in their 70s' not set home in America.

I will not truely retire for as long as I can physically go and do. What the hell else would I do with my time? I only ever really felt comfortable at work. I do feel truely comfortable hanging with my grandchildren but do not get to do that very often.

Oh? Now I see. His pension has X amount. But it trickles out at $34 pounds per week. With $9K up front?

He says he wants ALL his $36K up front. They say only if you die before age 65...3 weeks out. So he is telling them he will kill himself at his retirement party. They laugh, think its a joke.

He is getting drunk. Tries to hang himself but the ceiling caved down.

Next he tosses an appliance in his bath. Fuse box blows up.

On and on it goes I guess. Wife getting mad now. He's smoking again inside.

I've been retired for 12 years and I've loved every minute of it. I stay busy around the place or visit with friends and grandchildren when not traveling and seeing new people and places.

As I've posted before, retirement is VERY different for every person. Many people love their work or otherwise need the purpose that daily work provides them. That's fine. Many people like me delight in every day of retirement and the freedom to pursue my interests. That's fine. Different strokes. I have no idea what the retirement laws are in England, but considering how messed up that country is, nothing would surprise me.

Wife says...why didn't you do it when I was 43 and I could get some hot thing! Now I can only get an old Codger in his 70s!

Point is he wants his pension in full. They say no. Unless you die. She says she doesn't want the money?

Wife leaves. He is cleaning up his mess inside. She comes back in a few days with Authorities.

He gets sent to the looney bin under some "self preservation act" ? what a mess England is.

He gets out to go to a differential as witness. First lawyer says "did you just spend ti.e in a mental hospital?" From then on nothing is believed.

Yes, I think its a dark comedy. Row houses. Why am I watching it?

He has pistol from war. Getting ready to shoot. Kid falls on porch. He runs to help. He cries and hugs the kid. A strangers kid?

Big bang inside. Wife goes running. It was Champagne. Now its over.

Thanks for the post (you two above). Your posts do make people think alternatively to stereotype retirements. I traveled to Asia for work all post 2001. In fact SEPT 22, 2001 to Malaysia a muslim country. 33 hours total SFO to Penang. I despise plane flights. I hate the people around as I can feel Stain in the mix. Makes my skin crawl now since 2020 riots. I quit here for nearly two years due to Stain, hard core Stain. They need to be studied in an ASSylum. If they push me too far I will leave them again to post lies to each other.

Stain kill countries. Kill your retirement funds. Thank you President Trump for slowing them!!!! MAGA.

Good short stories on "the Street" British episodes of scenario.

Like respected teacher jogging in park at dusk? Takes a keak in bushes. Someone sees? I need to go back to find out who? A little girl?

He gets labeled a flasher. Now they are showing own it ripples thru his life. Imagine the little rascals in tje school what they do.

The hearings. The parents. The GOVT over reach. Etc. I think I am avoiding England.? Now the Stain are coming to his house. Now the Police. Now his job. Principal not punishing the little rascals taunting him. Go home they say.

Kids can be cruel in packs like jackal. He was pulling it. Shaking it she says lol!

Almost a tearjerker. Guys life, wife, two kids completely destroyed over BS. Cant go to pub with drunks attacking him. Off he goes in a taxi with a suitcase. Wife tearing the house apart screaming. Kids having to fight thru HS.

Phones start to ring. Something is up? He gets out of cab in the fog? I should pay better attention than posting anti-Stain. I should restart it. He walks back home? a happy ending? WTH? . Episode #3?

Maybe someday.
