For those who get deliveries by Instacart, pay attention. Today I ordered from FredMeyer store an order that included 3 packages of soft drinks for free when you order 3 paid for packages of 12 cans per. The delivery person brought not 6 packs but just 3 of them. Instacart handles their deliveries.

FredMyer of course did not deliver. I contacted Instacart to fix the problem. I had trouble with their accents since they are located in the Philippines, however I was pleased that they refunded back to me $35.97 which I was informed will show up by 7 days. This means the shipment of 3 packs of 12 each are free to me. I call that good service.

 
Are you sure the delivery guy didn't keep the extras? :D

I checked my bank and the money was already refunded to me. That is excellent service from Instacart.

I did it in Park City during ski season - good tipping high end clientele- for a few winters, to make some beer and gas money for my ski adventures.

The first couple seasons, you could get support that had strong English speaking, if it wasn't their native tongue, on the phone to handle challenges...The third year it all went to online chat with agents who obviously didn't have a firm grasp of the language.

They allow illegals, allow them to team shop, allow them to use their minor children to rove the aisles helping to fulfill orders, and their base batch price hasn't been raised EVER....You used to get a $3 bump for every 5-star rated order, but that went away in '18.

Like all the other gig operations, it has been ruined by people willing to accept shit pay and shit support.

I am not acquainted with the shoppers' issues. But as a customer, so long as the customers are honest too, and can stand talking to foreign workers, done on the phone one can still get treated fairly by Instacart. I was promised a full refund in 7 days but it was put back into my bank on the same day it was first removed. Door dash also delivers and it is harder to deal with their errors now than a year or more ago. I got a gift card for door dash, used around $22,00 for a meal delivered and suddenly the gift card quit working. Again, like Instacart, they also use Philippinoes whose language is a barrier to understanding them. I still have this nonfunctioning gift card thanks to the poor service at Door dash services. A second gift card did work very well.
