For a few years, the all-volunteer military construct was failing. Fresh thinking, financial resources, and untold amounts of effort have turned things around.

Without seeing any data, I would have expected recruiting to surge after the Biden years. Who the hell would want to join the Armed Forces when its priorities are DEI, Wimmin in Combat, and Man-Girls in the ranks?

More important now is the issue of the Officer Corps infested with faceless bureaucrats who thrived under O'Bama and Biden. These are the ones the MSM calls when they want to print an article badmouthing the Administration's military actions and initiatives. But Hegseth seems to have at least caused them to shelter-in-place for a while. Hopefully, the Rubio-Vance Administration will finally be rid of them.
