Here is the real problem...IMO
There are those who play the race card without regard for whether or not the people they play it on
are racists.
Then there are some who have the race card played on them, but dismiss any possibility that they may be racists.
People who are secure with the fact they are NOT racists, aren't bothered by someone telling them they are racists. Because they know it's not true, and nobody can point to any support for racism on their part.
I tend to really disapprove of what I call racial resentments. Almost nobody practices real racism anymore because it means you believe in the superiority or inferiority of one race over another.
While statistical differences on all manner of measures might exist amongst races, countries, and cultures...the irrational notion that certain types of homo sapiens have significant functional inferiorities to other homo sapiens is anthropologically unsound, and absurd.
Simple and dangerous minds use circumstantial differences between races to draw unsupported conclusions about those races, and that is usually when bad things start to happen, especially if those people have any kind of authority over those they believe to be inferior.
