in their latest national poll (conducted Jan 29–Feb 2, 2026) Trump’s approval is 37%, down from 40% in the prior poll (conducted Jan 8–12, 2026).

A drop that fast this early reads like voters are already reacting to Trump's, self-focused leadership...more noise than governing, more drama than delivery...and the slide in approval is exactly what you’d expect when people don’t feel their day-to-day problems are being handled.

So a bunch of university liberals think Trump isn't giving them (CRT, DEI, immigration gone wild, LGBT lunacy, etc) what they want. YAWN***********

Is Quinipiac that left-wing pollster whose been way off every election?

His approval has slid for me.

Way more deportations and way more arrests of corrupt Democrats are needed immediately.

Trump is acting like a *****. Way too soft.

Bondi should act like Garland and Patel should act like Wray and Comey.

Trump should put politics first attack his enemies with all his power, legal or not.

He should act just like the Dems did from Jan 2021- Jan 2025.

Going to be a bloody midterm election for the Republican Party.
I doubt that we'll see another republican in the white house for as much time as it takes the American voters to forget this current travesty.

I am surprised it was that high going into the poll to be honest. My general assumption is that his core ride or die base is probably around 36%
