I use my phone 99% of the time when posting. The frequency of weird grammar and spellings just made me think it was just down to my Nokia phone. So I Googled predictive text problems -

What compounds the problem is when you decide to change the sentence you just typed out. When writing new words, it alters them based on the grammar in the old sentence.

I just did a post with "know" in twice and on both occasions the phone changed it to "knowledgeable"?

So if you see a weird bit of grammar/spelling, it means not proof reading and shit AI in predictive text.

Didn't understand a word as I prepare all my posts using a Feather Quill pen on the finest Basil Bond notepaper .

He's allegedly Welsh, so that's his Achilles Heal.

The ever so fantastic AI tool now wrecking predictive text.

He's allegedly Welsh, so that's his Achilles Heal.

I heard a rumour he was missing one his Achilles Heels .
Is that what is affecting his Spelling ,Grammar and Punctuation?

I wondered if he just had poor eyesight and no secretary to check his draft posts .
Will ask one of my girls to send him a reminder memo to pull up his breeches or his one sock .

Both my phone and computer overcorrect. The most common thing is that for some reason my dumb computer turns things into plurals. :confused-84:
Example: "I went to the store the other day ..."
Turns into: "I went to the store the other days ..."

Perhaps your new friend knows more about you than you can remember
!!!

P.S,
Technically you cannot overcorrect .
Because this would imply a new level of correctness which was claimed by the first one/ answer .
And outside of the Quantum world you cannot have two answers to a single problem .
