Why are kids that young being taught about these issues? Kids should be learning about mathematics, computer science, astronomy, not the lifestyles of people.

I'm one of those "live and let live" kinds of people, but sex ed, gender identity and whatnot should be taught much later in life. I recall not learning about similar stuff until grade 9, and yes, some of it was new to me.

I do understand your point about the hypocrisy in regards to protesting. That said, I don't blame these parents not wanting their kids to learn about these issues. For me, it wouldn't be because I am against others choices, for me it would be about it not being the place of the school to educate my kid. They are kids ffs, they shouldn't be learning about ANY issues of this nature, straight families or otherwise. It's predatory as far as I am concerned.

Schools are socializing students instead of educating them of useless, applicable skills.
